A song that will Stay with you

Title: To Stay With You
Music and Lyrics: Niko Bulaun
Original Composition

Stand Still
We'll take this ride together
Hold my hand and never let it go

Ill take you places
You've never been in before
I wanna walk with you
Until the night ends

Coz don't worry
I'll be here
To take all those tears Away

Your eyes
Are like stars in the night
I wanna fall in love
Over and over again... With you

Coz don't worry
I'll be here
To take all those tears Away
(Repeat)

I will never
Leave you alone
And I will promise
To stay With you

Home and Away

When the sun is up and the cool breeze whistling down on your face, it would most probably be a good day to take a breather and drive up to the mountains. A couple of weeks ago, my closest friends and I drove up to the cold mountains around the outskirts of the city where our buddy's rest house lay. The one and a half hour drive to the mountain did not feel like it was a long drive because when you have friends that mock around and make fun of all the weird unusual things you pass by during the trip, they tend to make the long hour drive a hell of a laugh trip.

When we thought that everything would work out alright as planned, the unexpected happened. The car that I was riding broke down and lost its acceleration as we were starting to drive up the mountain. We really did not know what caused the damage but our theories have concluded that we might have been jinxed by our girl buddy - she's being a paranoid since the time we took off and she was actually riding in the car where we were all comfortably seating at. I still love her though she's actually like that (laughs). Fortunately, our buddy's mom drove by coincidence and switched cars with her - she is so sweet and apparently she owns the car we were using as well. Even though we went through all of that trouble, we were still in smiling faces, calm and happy - I really don't know what our paranoid-ish friend felt all through that trouble (evil laugh).

Basically, this breather can be be but to simpler words that can actually describe the whole trip. A Buffet. For snacks, we got bags and bags of Lays, buns, bread chocolates, assorted chips, name it!

Dinner:
Crabs
grilled tuna belly and squid
chicken soup
Whole medium sized roast pig
Pork on tofu
Breakfast:
Scrambled Eggs
Tocino
Sausage
Corned Beef
LEFT OVERS
Lunch:
Crabs
Grilled Shrimps
Sautéed Roast Pig
Grilled Marinated Boneless Milf Fish
Adobo - Filipino Dish

Its like a the whole restaurant's menu. Don't even get me started with the desserts.

There are really cool sights and places near the rest house around the mountains. Like this piece of "Art" created by Davao's most famous artist... Kublai.

There's this one rest house where in you can actually pay to take a dip in their swimming pool which unfortunately was recently drained when we went in. Whoever the owner of that house is surely a fan of spongebob's.

And lastly, as the afternoon was slowly setting down, we cooled off by drinking freshly made strawberry shakes at "Nowhere Diner and Cafe". I literally don't know where the place was located over in the mountains, so I guess I can say that Diner can nowhere to be found. Actually, their shakes were really good and has fresh strawberries mixed up together for a very economic price. This "Nowhere Diner" has a cowboy theme and that is why all the boys had their cowboy hats on and I was their damsel in distress, as seen in the picture below.

It was really a weekend getaway to remember. Away from all the harmful smogs and busyness of the city, it sure was a fattening yet unforgettable time with friends.

We had a smooth ride all the way back home and didn't had any bumps along the road. We counted a total of more than 15 horses back and forth and majority of them were female horses. Just a random thought.

This poor buddy of ours must be sleep deprived. I wonder why.

A Lyric for the Broken Hearted

Break my Heart in Two
Lyrics by: Francis Nikolo Bulaun

I keep thinking about the days when we're still together
And all the times we just hold each other's hands
But I wonder why did it fade away
I didn't get to even hear you say...

I still remember all the Promises you have said
And now I can't keep you out of my Head
But I wonder why did it fade away
I didn't get to even hear you say... goodbye

I keep walking alone
'Cause this feeling's just too strong
You told me you'd stay
And when I came back
I prayed you'd wait
'Cause you made me feelin'
Feeling like oh so true
But at the end I found out
You can't help but break my heart in two

How could you say all those things
And didn't even know what you mean
But I wonder why did it fade away
I didn't get to even hear you say...

You left me hanging by a thread
Now I'm just left alone with no Regrets
And I still wonder why you went away
All I wanted was to hear you say...

Restless Hearts

"Work hard... and PARTY hard!" - My 1st year college school director; Cheers sir!

As far as the years have passed by, 21 is the new 16. When you hit the sweet 16 stage, you feel like as if you're an adult already. Technically your not. Sweet 16 is a life changing experience where exploration is an adventure:

- Old enough to have your first date
- True Love's kiss

- finish high school and get to college
- Prom or Senior's Ball

- Start counting boyfriend/girlfriend number 1 and counting
- Party and get wasted till 5am

Now, your 21. What are you going to do? I say keep that cup filled and have shots. Get serious and find yourself a freagin job. Well that is how it is and how its suppose to be, right? Well I say, don't let the good youth run you out. Do what you love and do it with all your heart:

- graduate college

- take a vacation
- take as many vacations as you want until you get bored

- when its time to get a job, realize if you really need a job
- when all gets worse, get a job... and a life

- boyfriend/girlfriend number 10 and counting

- when partying, buy lots of bottles for reserves so that you still have enough when
the liquor ban hits 2am

- if you need to get another degree, good luck on that
- and etc.

Head over Heels

I can't elaborate more of the fact that STI College of Davao's system really sucks. I requested a course description list so that I can submit it to Central Queensland University so as they can soon credit some of my subjects taken from STI. How slow can it get?! Its as if I still go to that school. As soon as I arrived in the registrar's office, I was already waiting for the registrar to take notice of me. Am I that too big to not notice? And there wasn't hardly any students waiting at all. geeshhh!

Anyway, my day didn't start out right because my aunt called me and asked me to pick up her grocery in her office. I might have considered it as a good thing because I thought waking up before lunch time might help adjusting my body clock because lately I sleep around 3-5am in the morning because of my addiction to glee and NBA2K10 (*laughs*). Then the "as usual" incident in the registrar's office came along, which I was already prepared for did not caught me by surprise, but enough said. Then the fun part comes along. My buddy and I met for an afternoon of none sense... again.

First thing we did was sip a cup of Orbitz. I may have ordered the same thing over and over again. Cookies and Cream tastes bland after 10minutes or so. Might try the colorful flavors next time. We like staring down the mall because Orbitz stands in the fourth floor of the mall and their high chairs and tables were placed along side of the corridor and amazingly you can get to see everyone in the corner we were seated. Our eyes were like radars and all... surprisingly, we saw a fair number of familiar faces around. We pushed our fat legs and thighs and put it to work around. We came out looking for shoes; I for one hand need to replace my old shoes because it's sole is getting thinner and flats cause so much pain to my flat footed heels. Theres this one shoe I fancy, which was displayed in artwork for a fair price. It looks like a modernized topsider, color gray which personally fits my style, a bit of a casual formal-like looking shoe that would fit my everyday expos. My buddy Anot fancies the black topsider but I may have to tell him that He and I should think about buying the shoe together, because it may look silly that He and I both have the same shoe but with different colors.

Kathleen was around so she invited us to go to the cafe and bought us food. Thanks Kat! Keep the career up! Our girl buddy, came to join the fun... the none sense fun. And the first thing she did in the mall was sip a cup of Orbitz too. She had the red flavored drink, which I really don't know what flavor that was. See how exciting the day was. As we were heading off to Damosa for dinner, we saw my buddy's crush in SPC riding the jeep. He said that he always have been fond of that girl ever since He got into SPC. So I said why don't we ride the same jeep as her's, eventhough the jeep she was riding was en route for the other way, and we'll just take off in the nearest place to the destination and take another ride instead? Looking at my buddy's face, He couldn't say no to my suggestion and gladly griming His way to the jeep. My oh my, my buddy was right! The girl is so beautiful. I can imagine the looks she makes on her face. She looks like a Filipino version beauty of Quinn Fabray from Glee. During the trip, I was doing a lot of teasing to my buddy. He even sat down next to the girl and that was totally a thumbs up for him. But my oh my, the manners, He picked his nose while seated behind the girl. "What the hell man!" (*laughs*).

As this story seem to be a long one, I'll cut down to the chase. Tried having dinner in Patok sa Manok. The chicken was not ok-ok. It lacked effort. The bbq sauce painted all over made it seem like it was grilled to perfection... but it did not. Had desert in Mackers(Mcdonalds). Out of the boredom, my buddy drew something on my hand right next to the thumb portion of my fist. It looked like a cat that had a pig's head and feet that had 3 fingers only which made it look like a chicken's feet. Over all, it looked like a mutated animal. Then I made a drawing of a bat mobile on a piece of tissue and my buddy kept yelling out "fat mobile?", and our girl buddy just couldn't stop laughing. I mean, "what...? what the hell...", but thats alright. At least in the end you made someone happy and unforgetful. As the night started to end, I remembered something about hard rain when your in Mcdo, because for him the rain make some people sad but for him it makes him happy. I wonder why.

- mutated cat-like pig animal; I shall call him banokat

No, I don't want to be bitten.
